What an amazing run we had. So much has happened through the years and I wanted to send a shout out to all the past and present team members. Just a little recap of the team. The team was started in 2004 with just 6 players looking to get out for the night. The original team is pictured in the slides up top. It is the one with Chris, Skeeter, Glenn, Scooter, Marc and Jim. Since then there has been many versions of the team and players have come and gone. We have played many different divisions and two different leagues. Some team accomplishments are as follows:

Lets look at some detail:

Tap League Games won vs. Games lost performance sorted by win %. We do not have APA League history on this as we did not track it at that time.

To win a division MVP you take the handicap of all the players you beat and add that together to get the Pts. You then add that to your win percentage to get the total. So I used the same math for the history of the team. So the 6Ballstoomany career MVP's are as follows based on the current skill level now:

Skill level 2&3 - Glenn Stephens

Skill level 4&5 - Steve Parker

Skill level 6&7 - Scott Thomas

Name Match Won Match Lost Pts Win % MVP Score
Team Total 857 554 3286 60.65% 3346.65

Johanna Lopez 15 7 28 68.18% 96.18
Joshua Hyer 7 4 29 63.64% 92.64

As you can see we have achieved some amazing things as a team. I think it is safe to say we far exceeded any of the original expectations. I want to thank all the players for all the memories. I wish all players who ever wore the 6Ballstoomany logo proudly all the best and hope we play again someday. I also want to say a special thank you to Jorge Lopez who is no longer with us. With out him I do not think the team would have ever started.

7/04/08

Happy 4th of July! On the team news we won another division 1st money round and again took 1st place trophy's. Jason Owens won the skill 2-3 MVP. Scott Thomas won the skill 6-7 MVP and the team MVP. Delana finished 2nd in the 4-5 MVP only one match out of 1st place. Play-off's were interesting with a close match in the 1st round not really played well by the team. Thanks to some tough play by Jason Rogers, Glenn Stephens and Chad Marshall we made it to the finals. In the finals the team rebounded dominating the finals with a 3-1 victory that was really never in question. Chris got the team in the lead with some great play and we never looked back. Jason Owens won the second match for the team beating one of the better 4's in the league 2-0 with some great defensive play. Scott Thomas wrapped up the 1st place trophy's for the team winning his match 5-1. We have a week off and then will start to prepare for the August 2nd Titleholders event. We will need to win our board at titleholder to keep our National Championship hopes alive.

It saddens me to say we lost a friend this week. Jorge Lopez touched our lives in many ways and we all need to remember times we had. If it was not for him many of us may never have met. Right click the link below to see a small video I put together to honor our friend and times our team had with him. Once you right click select save as and save it to a location on your computer. Go to that location and double click.

In Memory of Jorge Lopez

5/17/08

The team is tearing it up. This week we won 5-0 to remain in 1st place with 5 weeks remaining. Delana improved her chances at the 4 and 5's MVP by improving her record to 5-0 overall. Glenn is also undefeated at 4-0. Jason O. improved to 5-1 and stays alive for the 2 and 3's MVP. We increased a 4 point lead and are in great shape to return to the Titleholder later this year.

5/11/08

The team is in the final session to try and qualify for the 2008 National Championships. Currently we are in first place in our division. With six weeks to go in the season it is looking good that we will be playing in the next Titleholder event. Currently Delana and Glenn remain undefeated this season. More to come in the next couple weeks.

4/18/08

Well we did not win the Titleholders event. In the final game with everything tied up our opponent had an 8-ball break. You hate to lose that type of an event on an 8-ball break but that's the way the balls roll sometimes. We have been on a terror earning nine individual patches and one team patch in about a weeks time.

Chris - Two 8Ball break and run patches and a team 5-0

Chad - Break and run patch and a team 5-0

Jason R- Break and run patch and a team 5-0

John - Break and run patch and a team 5-0

Scott - 8Ball break patch, two rack-n-8-tor patches and a team 5-0

Glenn - Rack-n-8-tor patch and a team 5-0

Jason O. - Team 5-0

Delana - Team 5-0

I think we are on a mission now. I know I would not want to play us!

3/30/08

Well I have been slacking and not updating the team info. Not much going on right now. We are waiting to play in the Titleholders event in mid April. The top eight team will move on to the Masters, basically the state championship and a chance at Nationals. We started a new season and are just getting ready for the next round. More to come in a couple weeks.

3/08/2008

Well another great season comes to a close. The team took the 1st place money for the season and 1st place trophy's in the play-offs. Jason R. got the winning started with a 3-0 win. Glenn got the 2nd of the 3 needed wins and John closed out the night. John also earned a break and run patch in his match.

This season we accomplished:

1st place trophy

1st place money

1st place skill 6-7 MVP

2nd place skill 6-7 MVP

2nd place skill 4-5 MVP

Team average of 65% win percentage

Next up is the Titleholders and a chance to play in the Phoenix Masters.

2/24/2008

Another successful season comes to a close. The team took 1st place and is moving on to the Phoenix Titleholders event. We will play the next two weeks in trophy events but are really focused on the next tournament. Scott and Jason took 2nd place in there MVP standings. John won the 6-7 MVP with one loss all season. John was also picked by the team as the team MVP for his complete turn around from how he started with the team. He has been a positive addition to the team in more aspects than just strong play. Congrats John and don't forget the team MVP winner buy's the team a round!!!

Title Holder dates are 4/12 and 4/13 at Main Street Billiards.

1/27/08

With another week out of the way we still remain in 1st place. The team has a bye this week and will resume play in two weeks. We will need to hold on for three weeks to take 1st place for the division. John earned two patches last week clinching a 4-1 team victory over the 3rd place team. Glenn, Scott, Chad and John made up the four wins to keep the team in 1st place. John, Jason and Scott all have a chance at division MVP.

More in two weeks.

1/18/08

The team won again this week keeping us in first place. It is a tight race with 4 weeks of play left. Chad earned a rackin8tor patch while Jason, Scott and John remain in the running for division MVP's.

1/12/08

The team kicked it in high gear winning the last three weeks in a row. We topped it off with a 5-0 win last week to take over 1st place with 5 weeks to go. John earned a rackless patch and moved to 4-0 on the season. Jason, Scott and John are in the running for division MVP's. Patch pages are updated and I will update more as we near the end of the season.

12/16/07

Well the team is back into the regular season. We made it to the final round of Titleholders and now need to get some win's to get back. We are responding to the need with back to back 4-1 wins. We are back in the top three in the division and should only be two points out of 1st place. With a top three finish we will again qualify for the next Titleholder event. Chris has stepped up his game winning 4-0 for the last two weeks in a row. Last week the team won four of it's five matches with out loosing a game. Scott is whooping up on people. Currently he has won 20 games and only lost 2 for a 4-0 record. John has been shooting lights out and is currently undefeated this season also. If they keep it up they will need to play each other for the MVP at the end of the season.

Chad really 0-2? Everyone please give him a hug when you see him!!!

12/1/2007

Lots of new news. Starting today the team is playing in the Title Holders event. If we win we will be qualified to play in the Phoenix Masters which gets you into the National Championships. I will update the page once we know the results.

We have made a new addition to the 6Ballstoomany family. Chad Marshall has joined the team. Chad has played with Jason, John, Q-bert and Scott before on previous teams but never all together. Chad bring a lot of high level tournament play experience and should be a nice addition to the team. Check out Chad's player page to see more info.

All player pages and team pages are current, enjoy!

11/09/07

It has been a long time since the last update. We finished last session in 3rd place. The team has had a couple weeks off to relax. We started the new session last week and are now back in the swing of things. On Saturday & Sunday, December 1st & 2nd the team will play in the Titleholders - Qualifier for the '08 Phoenix Masters. This is the 2nd step in getting to next years National Championships. I will update more as we get going in the new season.

9/22/2007

Currently the team in in 2nd place with three weeks to go. Jason, Scott and Q-bert (Jason R) all have a chance at the division MVP for their skill level. Scott earned a 8ball break patch last week. The team has a bye this week so we will have two more weeks of play starting next week. Moe to come as we clinch spots.

Patches and player bio's have been updated.

8/25/2007

Sorry no updates recently. Let me get everyone up to speed. The team is doing great and is currently in 1st place for our division. Jason Rogers remains in the running for division MVP. John is currently up in Las Vegas playing with his APA team in Nationals. Scott, Jason and Steve just got back from playing mini events in Las Vegas. Steve placed 1st in one event. Scott placed 3rd in four events and 1st in one. Jason cleaned up placing 3rd in one event and 1st in four.

The team is still in the running to win a spot in the TAP Nationals at Myrtle Beach. More updates to come on this next week end.

7/27/2007

The team is doing great. We won again last night going 3-2. We are currently in 1st place and playing well. We welcome a new addition to the team. John Wilhelm joined the team last night and won his 1st match. We were hoping for a loss since the team rule would have gotten us all a free drink. John will be a great addition giving us another high skill level player to balance out the team. More to come...

7/22/2007

The final Title holders for 2007 is over and 6Ballstoomany wins a spot in the Masters next month. The masters tournament winner will go to the National Championships in Myrtle Beach. The team really played great in the final match today winning 3-1 to close it out.

To update the regular season, we are in 1st place. Jason, Q-bert and Chris are undefeated. We have gone 4-1 every week this session. More to come in a couple weeks.

7/13/2007

The team is doing fine. We are currently in 1st place and have won the last two weeks 4-1. Q-bert is 2-0, Scott 2-0, Chris 2-0 and Jason 2-0. Now who will win MVP this season??? My money is on Scott!

7/7/2007

Well we started a new season off 4-1 and looked pretty good. I guess you shouldn't go 5-0 the 1st week, it could discourage other teams too early in the season... Q-bert (Jason Owens) seemed to work well with the team and won his 1st match, shoot no free round of drinks.

6/27/2007

Well with a new season approaching the team is taking on a new look. Some of our players have been driving across town for some time now and have decided to start a team on the west side. We had a great run and want to wish Laura, Steve and Randy the best of luck with their new team. They will be playing out of Six Shooters on 35th and Peoria if you want to go visit. They will be on different table sizes so we will not play them... Yes Scott is bummed about that, he really wanted to play Laura. Just kidding Laura I would have to give you too much weight, Sandbagger!

The rest of the team remains unchanged except we are picking up Jason Owens. Jason has been around the team for a while and played with Scott and Jason Rogers on the Usual Suspects team in the APA. We are excited to add Jason to the roster, but we are also starting a new tradition that the new guy must buy a round! Sorry Jason it has to start some where...

I will update the final two roster spots once I have confirmation on them.

6/17/2007

With another season in the bag the team has won 1st place money and made it to the finals in the trophy round. We will play this week for 1st place trophies. Congratulations to Chris who won the 4-5 skill level MVP for the division. More next week after the final play-off round.

6/5/2007

As you have come to expect with one week to go in the season we are in 1st place and need only 2 wins out of 5 next week to take 1st place money. We will then compete for division trophies in the following two weeks. Laura has been playing very well and has a chance to win the 2-3 skill level MVP. More to come next week after the season comes to a close...

5/13/07

The team is hanging in 1st place currently and won last week 3-2. Scott earned another Break & Run patch and a Rack-n-8-tor patch. Jason also earned a another Rack-n-8-tor patch. It was a fun to see the other teams match up blow up in their face. The team captain who is a skill level 6 left himself to play our skill level 3, Laura. Instead of matching up to Scott and letting the skill level 3's play each other. Well Scott beat their 3 with a score of 5-0 and earned two patches. Their team captain said "he was going to do to Laura what Scott did to their 3". Well it did not work Laura hung in and beat him to win the night for the team.

Way to go Laura...

4/22/07

Well our time in the middle of the division was very short. We earned our 3rd 5-0 win of the season last week and are now in the race for 1st place. Randy earned his 1st rack-n-8-tor patch. Steve would have but he lost the lag, he should have flipped a coin.

Yes Glenn I said that for you...

4/13/2007

The team has been on a good run. We went 5-0 a week ago with Chris earning an 8-ball break patch. Jason and Glenn earned a rack-n-8-tors. This week we went 4-1 and climbed up in to 2nd place. Steve earned a break-run patch in his win. With half the season to go we have a great chance to win another season. We will need to place top three to get back into the next titleholder tournament.

More to come...

3/23/2007

Well the time has come and we are ready to play in the Title Holders tournament. The winning teams will move on the the Phoenix Masters and a chance to play for the National Championships. We warmed up this week beating last sessions 2nd place team 5-0. The team is playing great and it shoed in Scott's back 2 back break & runs last week. We will update after the weekend with the results.

2/22/2007

6Ballstoomany takes it all. The team won in domination fashion tonight going 3-1. We have now finished the most effective season in several years. We clinched play-off's weeks before and then pushed our way right though to the 1st place trophies. We are now moving on to the Title Holders event in late March. The winners here get to play in the State Masters tournament for a chance at the 2007 National Championships. We are off for a couple weeks so no updates until middle march.

2/11/2006

Impossible Odds and Usual Suspects both advance to the APA State-Cup. Scott earned another HLT 8-Ball break and run patch and wins final match for both teams to clinch a spot in the State-Cup later this year. Great job to all the players for both teams on their amazing performance. You can visit the Impossible Odds link below on the left to see a complete story.

2/10/2007

Another season has come to an end and as you would expect 6Ballstoomany took 1st place for the season. We closed the season strong with Scott earning another break and run patch. We had the season won a week before it was over and remained in 1st place since week two of the season. Looks like Steve will win another skill level 4-5 MVP. We had 4 players in the top ten. The team will compete in trophy rounds starting next week.

Good luck to Impossible Odds and Usual Suspects, the other teams Scott, Jason and Steve have been a part of. They are playing in the APA Tri-Cup today. The teams are playing for a chance to move on to the city wide or state cup later this year. The state cup winners, 3 of them, represent Arizona in the 2007 National Team Championships.

1/27/2007

Is it possible with two weeks to go the team could hold 1st place from week two to week fourteen? If we continue for two more week we will hold the 1st place spot for thirteen out of the fourteen weeks. In addition Steve, Jason and Chris are all in the running for the division MVP. It is possible for them to finish 1, 2 and 3 in their skill level. We clinched a play-off spot this week as well with a 3-2 win over the 4th place team.

See ya next week!

1/20/2007

What a season! The team is really kicking some butt. We are in 1st place and every one on the team is doing their part. This week Laura, Steve and Jason won to keep their MVP chances alive. Chris rounded out the winning and is now in striking distance of Steve for the MVP. With 3 weeks to go in regular season we have a 8 match lead on the second place team. Can you say division champs? If not get a speech therapist, we have won enough times you should by now...

1/06/2007

We are back from the Holiday break and started off by winning the night 3-2. The team has held the 1st place spot now for 8 weeks and counting. Steve, Scott and Laura still have chances at the MVP's for this season. With 6 weeks to go things are looking great for the team to be playing in this seasons play-offs.

Congratulations to Jason and Scott's Wednesday night team Usual Suspects. The team had to win the last 5 weeks of the season to make play-offs in the final spot. Once making play-offs they got down to business winning both rounds to win the season and qualify for the APA Tri-Cup.

12/22/2006

The team won last night 4-1 ensuring we will remain in 1st place over the holiday break. When we return we will have 6 weeks left to hold on for play-offs. Hope everyone has a great holiday and we will return to play on 1/04/2006.

12/4/2006

Well the team is on top and in control of 1st place. We won again this week making it 5 weeks in a row. We will have some time off over the Christmas holiday and hope everyone have a happy holidays.

11/27/06

The team is doing great. Currently we are in 1st place and everyone is playing well. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...

11/11/06

The Team started the season with a bang. The team is now in sole possession of 1st place after it earned a 5-0 win Thursday. The team earned it while playing the team we were tied with in 1st. Jason, Chris, Delana, Scott, Laura and Steve remain undefeated this season. Scott is leading the team with 115 MVP points. Steve is close behind with 110 MVP points.

Go 6Balls...

11/02/06

The team had another good night winning 4-1 Jason and Glenn both earned Rack-N-8-tor patches. Scott and Delana added to the winning getting wins 3 and 4. Currently Steve, Scott, Delana, Jason and Laura are undefeated going into week three.

See ya next week.

10/26/06

Well the new season is under way and we started of well betting last seasons trophy winners 3-2. Scott got the 1st win beating the new 7 in the division. Steve got the second win dominating a strong 5. The 5th match with our newest player Jason could have been a win but was forfeited by the other team when they went over the handicap rule. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.

10/21/06

Our time off has come to an end and we will start the new season this Thursday. Josh has decided to return to school and we will miss him. Jason will be joining the team once his work schedule changes in week two. Jason has played on some of our other teams before and went the the National championships with Scott on there Wednesday night Usual Suspects team. More updates to some once we start the new season.

10/5/06

The team finished the season in 2nd overall and qualifies for the titleholders. Scott placed 2nd in the 6-7 skill level MVP. Steve won the 4-5 skill MVP. Laura won the 2-3 skill MVP and takes team MVP also.

We have had a lot of great news recently. Scott was promoted at work and Chris took on a new job. Congratulations to Chris and Lyndsay who are moving into a new home. The team is off for a couple weeks now will enjoy some R&R. No Chris that does not mean help you move...

We will update in a couple weeks.

9/28/06

The team went 4-1 tonight to move us into a tie for 1st place. With the season over it will come to a tiebreaker. We are in the play-offs and should be qualified for the titleholders tournament which gets us one round closer to the National championships for 2007. Next week we start play-offs in a quest for the trophies. Laura is in the running for the 2-3 MVP, Steve is in the running for the 4-5 MVP and Scott is in the running for the 6-7 MVP. Over all it was a great season and we look forward to the play-offs.

Go 6Balls.......

9/21/06

The team went 4-1 tonight and guaranteed at least 2nd place finish for the season. Next week we will go after 1st place and see what position we enter play-offs at.

9/14/06

With two weeks to got the team is in range of the 1st place position. It will take some good wins but well with in reach. Steve and Laura are in range to challenge for the 2-3 MVP and the 4-5 MVP. The team needs 5 more wins to guarantee a play off position. If other teams loose and matches that number reduces.

GO 6BALLS...

9/12/06

The team is in the top three and working on making play-offs again. If the team makes it that will make top three every season we have played in TAP. Glenn is in the running for the 4-5 MVP but will need to win out the rest of the season to be a front runner.

8/31/06

The team wins 5-0 tonight moving us back into 1st place. Josh and Glenn remain undefeated and we are in a great spot with only 4 weeks to go in the season.

8/24/06

Well the ride is over for the Usual Suspects. The team was eliminated in the 10th round. The final ranking for the team was 129th out of 700. Not a bad run for only 6 players with handicap problems from the start. Delana, Scott and Steve all had a good time and brought home lots of pool stuff. Steve won several mini events and did o.k. in the casino as well. Delana won a mini and placed in the money several times. Delana also got a new Predator break cue she had been eyeing. Delana eraned her 1st 8Ball Break and Run in practice against Scott (She wanted to make sure everyone knows it was against Scott). Delana also earned her 1st 9 Ball break in her mini-events. Scott placed in the money in several mini events. Scott won a SchÖn limited pool cue (only 7 ever made) and a regular SchÖn pool cue (only 14 ever made). Scott also received some National Championship gear; a silver coin for national participants and National Championship participant patch and certificate. Scott also earned National Championship 8Ball break and 8Ball Break & Run patches.

The 6ballstoomany team is currently in a solid 2nd place on our Thursday night division. As the season starts to wind down we should be back in the play-off hunt again.

Steve and Scott will also be involved in a new team called Impossible Odds starting in mid September. Soon there will be a link between the two sites for all to enjoy.

8/23/06

The Usual Suspects team wins 3-0 and advances to the 10th round. We are now in the money rounds ranked 129th out of over 700 teams. Currently we are in the $1000.00 round and each win increases the winnings. We are leaving it all on the table and very happy with how we have played. Who would have guessed we would make money rounds being short 2 player in the National Championships...

Chris if we make it to Friday your butt better get on a plane! Friday is the top 10 teams in USA and Canada.

8/22/06

Scott mowed another skill level 6 to clinch another team win for Usual Suspects and move the team into the 5th round. Scott earned another National Championship patch today for 8Ball Break, he was an inch away from two of them. There were 700 teams when this started and after this round it is down to about 350. If we win our next round we move into 129th place, better than over 550 teams that made the journey. The team is playing well and we will keep you posted.

8/22/06

We are still kicking some but and representing the team and Arizona well. Delana took 3rd place money in another mini event last night. The Usual Suspects team Scott is playing in the Nationals with has advanced to round number 3. Scott played the one of his best matches ever on the biggest stage there is. Scott was matched up the the other teams skill level 6. With the win the team would only need one match out of the next three to advance. Scott made sure of that winning 5-0 and only missing 5 shots the entire match. Scott earned the teams 1st National Championship 8 Ball Break & Run patch.

Check out Scotts cool stuff page to see the cues he has won.

8/21/06

Believe it or not Scott won another SchÖn cue! At this point every cue vendor who walks by has everyone asking Scott to get in on it. I will update the web site later with pictures of the cues and some more Vegas.

The Usual suspect team Scott is on plays at 9:30 tonight but at this point I don't think he cares. Scott's on a quest to set the record for most cues won in a Nationals.

8/20/06

We are cleaning house in Vegas. Delana won her morning mini. Steve took another 9ball mini. Scott and Jason took 3rd place on a double field 9ball doubles. Scott won a SchÖn cue worth $1250.00. Steve, Delana and Scott all have minis shortly so will update you again later.

8/20/06

6Balls team member are representing Arizona well. Steve just won his third mini event. Delana is in her final round of this mornings minis. If she wins she takes 1st, either way she's in the money. Scott and Jason play in a doubles mini at 2:30pm.

8/20/06

Steve wins another mini last night. Scott starts some of his events today with registration at 8:30am. See some pictures from the event with link below.

8/19/06

Well Steve, Scott and Delana made it to Las Vegas. Delana took 3rd place in her 1st mini event. Scott Took second in his and Steve took 1st in his. Scott got another Schon... But no one has to kill him he bought this one. Steve is currently in another mini. 8 ball nationals starts Sunday night. I will update with pictures and more details tomorrow.

Steve just had some one throw their pool cue and kick it. I guess when a 4 kicks a 6's butt they tend to get a little mad. I am sure it has nothing to do with Steve playing like a 6 winning 27-7.

7/30/06

All is well and practicing for the Masters tournament. The team got another 5-0 a week ago and currently is in the top 3 for the division. Scott and Steve played in an Arizona rated 8-ball tournament last week. Scott took 7th place running 4 racks in the tournament. Steve made it through 5 rounds and hung in well for his 1st tournament playing as a skill level 6.

7/22/06

Want to welcome our newest player to the team. Joshua Hyer has joined 6ballstoomany. Josh joined the team two weeks ago and has won his 1st two matches. With Josh, Laura, Randy, Chris and Scott all wining this week the team picked up another 5-0 team win and patch.

By the way Steve and Glenn beat Delana and Laura again in shuffle board. Give it up ladies...

7/16/06

Hope everyone had a good holiday. The team is back in action starting a new season. We are all doing well and waiting for our chance at the TAP nationals in August. Congratulations to Steve who recently was promoted at work. We hope everyone is having a good summer and will update in a couple weeks when we have Masters tournament results.

7/4/06

We held the 2nd annual Bar room Olympics to celebrate the 4th. Pool event rankings were Scott- Gold, Steve - Silver and Laura (top female)- Bronze. Chris what happened? Darts event ranking were Scott - Gold, a 4 way tie for Silver between Steve, Chris, Delana and Laura (tied top female). Ping Pong event rankings were Scott and Chris - Gold, Steve - Bronze and Lyndsay in 4th (top female). We had a blast and hope every one else had a fun holiday!

Again Chris 4th in pool?

Well the team has started a new season and is just having some fun waiting for the TAP masters tournament. The team will play in early August for a chance at the TAP Nationals. Currently Scott and Chris are practicing for the APA Nationals. Delana is going to try her hand at some mini events while Scott and Chris are in Nationals. More updates later in the month when some of the other events get a little closer.

6/12/06

Congratulations to The Usual suspects (Scott and Chris's Tuesday night team). They competed in the APA 8-ball City championships and won a trip to the 2006 National Championships. Scott and Chris represent 6Ballstoomany well and good luck to the entire Usual Suspects team.

6/3/06

Lots of good news to share. 1st off the season is over and the team took 1st place again on our Thursday night TAP 8-ball division. It also looks like Steve took MVP for the 4-5 skill level. We will play for trophies this week. Steve is also going for a new position at work, good luck! Chris and Scott's Tuesday night APA 8-ball team will play in the city championships this weekend. Scott and Delana's Sunday APA 9-ball team won the division championship Sunday. Scott clinched it winning the final match and getting a 9-ball break and run. They will play in the 9-ball city championship next weekend.

Good luck to everyone in there upcoming events...

5/20/06

The team started the season by dropping to 6th place and might end the season in 1st again! With some really big weeks we pulled with in 1 point of the 1st place team last week. This week we played the 1st place team and with 2 weeks to go every match was important. Chris and Randy started the night off right by winning the 1st two matches. Glenn ensured the team would win the night by winning the 3rd match, giving the team a 3-0 lead. Scott added to the teams matches and his 6-7 MVP lead by winning the 4th match. Steve closed out the night wining the 5th and final match. Steve added to his 4-5 MVP lead and received a break and run patch. The team earned its 4th 5-0 patch for this season and moves into sole possession of 1st place.

The team wants to congratulate Delana on graduating with her mater's degree this weekend. Delana has worked very hard to achieve this goal and we are very proud. Now if she would just study pool that much.

On the team front we have gotten back in to 1st place. We are playing well and expect to be in it come play-off time. Scott is leading the 6-7 skill MVP race. Steve and Delana are in the running for he 4-5 skill level.

Well the team played great last week winning 5-0 against last seasons trophy winners. With this win the team moves into 2nd place. Randy started the night going 3-0 in his match. Glenn continued on to beat a very good skill level 5 with some good defense. Steve and Scott continued on with the winning night putting Chris in the hot seat to secure the 5-0. Chris held in to finish another 5-0 team win.

See ya next week...

4/14/06

6ballstoomany has a new team member. Randy has been around pool for many years, just not recently. I am sure with a couple weeks he will get back in the groove. For his 1st week Randy had to play a skill level seven and showed signs he will be good once he gets the rust off.

The team has won the last 4 weeks straight getting back to one of the top teams in the division. Delana remains undefeated and Scott appears to be leading the skill level 6 & 7 MVP race.

Well the team has had a couple hard weeks and dropped to 6th place. The team rallied this week to win 5-0 and should get us back in the top 4. With 8 weeks left in the season we have plenty of time to get back on top.

6Balls starts the season out right! We started a new season last night and

sent a message. With two players trying to win at new handicap levels, we won 5-0. Steve won 4-0 in his first match as a skill level 5.  Delana got her 1st win as a skill level 4. Scott started the MVP race by beating last seasons 2nd place 5-1.

See ya next week...

2/26/05

6Balls season has come to an end. We took 1st Place money for season and 2nd place trophies. Scott took skill level 6-7 MVP trophy and Laura received her 1st pool trophy. We had the week off last week and begin a new season on 3/2/06. I wonder if we can take 1st again? If I was a betting man I would put my money on top two. In the last 11 seasons the team has taken 1st or 2nd place.

2/7/06

Well all the final stats are in. The team officially took 1st place for the session. Scott won the 6/7 skill level MVP with an undefeated season.

Steve took 2nd in the 4/5 skill level MVP. Next on to the Trophy rounds!

2/4/2006

Season is over and with the team in 1st place. As soon as we get final MVP standings I will update the website. To the players check the members section I have posted the MVP voting and reasons. 1st round of Trophy play is Thursday 2/9/06.

We are getting close to the end of a great season. How great you ask? Well we clinched 1st place tonight. With 3 matches left to play tonight and 5 next week no team in the division can catch us. We had several 4-1 wins and two 5-0 wins this season. Scott is 8-0 and could win 6-7 MVP. Chris and Steve are still alive in the 4-5 MVP and will get a chance to get it next week.  It seems the entire team is playing well and having a good time. We will update you more when we know MVP winners and play off results.

1/20/06

As the season comes to an end we are in position to take 1st place. Last night we earned enough points to tie with 2nd at a minimum. With two weeks to go we only need 3 match wins total to take 1st place money. Currently Scott is number 1 on the 6-7 skill level MVP sheet. Steve and Chris are fighting it out for the 4-5 MVP. If they keep it up soon I wont have to give any of them weight! Right now there's a chance of them taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We will update next Friday with the results and what is needed if anything going in to the final week.

12/6/05

Well the team is doing good and is currently in 1st place. We have 4 weeks of play left and a 9 point lead on the 2nd place team. Scott, Delana and Steve have chances at MVP awards.

12/18/05

Well the team won 3-2 this week against the 2nd place team helping us come closer to clinching play-offs and 1st place. We have won every week this season and with 5 weeks to go we are in good shape to win the season. We hope all of our friends and family have a safe and happy holiday. We will not update again until after the new year.

12/13/05

Steve just because you have your brace off now doesn't mean you need to do the funky chicken! At least I have my easy beer bet back now.

12/8/05

Can you say 5-0? Well how about two times? Yea that's right every week this season the team has gone 4-1 until the last two weeks. We have gone 5-0 back to back in the last two weeks. Laura has won her last two matches and now has two patches. Delana, Steve and Scott are still undefeated. Scott had to come back 4 straight games to win his match which included a break and run. Chris, Glenn and 2 previous player all won every game they played.

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We are off this week due to the holiday and will resume play next week. Hey Steve did you know Delana has to play you straight up now? Glenn you get a game from her.....

O.K. now that I am in trouble with the wife see you later.

11/18/05

Well another week and another 4-1 win. The team has won every week this season and in a strong showing. Delana, Scott and Steve remain undefeated. Laura got her 1st career win against a good skill level 4. We gained 2 points on the team closest to us in the division. We currently hold 1st place in the division.

11/12/05

6Ballstoomany is on a roll winning every week this season 4-1. We are in 1st place and control our own future. With a lot of season to go it is nice to lead the division for 5 weeks now. Scott went 5-0 his 1st week as a 6 skill level. Delana went 2-0 to remain undefeated. Currently Delana, Steve and Scott are undefeated.

We have had a lot of good things happening lately and wanted to wish Glenn and Bree the best in the future. Glenn and Bree were recently married.  Chris is enjoying a new career opportunity and is doing well. Delana is in the final stretch of her masters degree and will finish in 2006.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

10/30/2005

Well the team started this weekend loosing the first match. We held tough and kept winning. We again had to play the team who put us in the losers bracket. This was to decide who got to advance back on to the winners side and play for a spot in the Masters tournament. It is always had to play the same team, especially when they handed you your first lose of the event. With wins from Chris, Scott and a previous player we were able to avenge ourselves and move on. Now a chance to win the event and claim our spot in the Maters tournament. Chris and Scott won giving us a 2 to 1 lead and previous player closed the deal. Chris and Scott went undefeated today setting the tone. Key wins from 2 previous players closed it out and the team moves on to the Masters. We will be playing for a chance to represent Arizona in the 2006 TAP Team National Championships.

10/29/05

6Balls goes tailgating at the Titleholders event!

Well the competition was some of the best we have faced. Lots of strong players came up against us and we managed to hold together for some big wins. Scott only missed 3 times in his entire 1st match, playing one of his better matches of his career and continued on in later matches. Steve came up big with key wins in the final matches, really showing the no quit of our team. Delana played very well. Chris clinched the final match sending us to Sunday play.

Glenn and Laura could not make it, but we know they were with us in spirit!

10/28/05

The team has won for the third week in a row 4-1. Everyone has had good matches and hopefully we can roll this play into the Titleholders event this weekend. Good luck to everyone from Division H who will be playing.

Want to congratulate a team from our old league, Criminal Behavior for winning the 9-Ball South West Challenge. Way to go guys!!!!!! Sean did you have to wear the U of A jersey? Mike how are you going to talk crap to your team now, you won?

10/20/2005

The team has started the new season winning week one and two 4-1. Steve received last seasons MVP plaque and some money. Steve, Scott, Delana, and 2 previous players have all started the new season undefeated after week two. Message to the team don't forget MVP voting for week one and two in the members section.

10/15/2005

The team starts the new season with a 4-1 win. Delana and a previous player started the team off with two straight wins. Steve and Scott wrapped it up with two more. Soon we will test our hand in the Title Holders event and try for a chance in the Masters. Good luck to the other players and teams headed to the TAP Nationals in November.

10/07/05

The team starts back to the new session next week. We are in the Titleholders event and will be playing in it at the end of the month. The team has just been relaxing and enjoying the few weeks of time off, but are ready to get back to playing.

9/25/05

Well the team did not take the trophies. It was a well fought match to hill, with big wins from Chris and Steve. So our 1st season in Tap comes to an end with the team taking 2nd place money, 4-5 skill level MVP (Steve) and qualified for the Titleholders Tournament. The winners at the Titleholders will go to the Phoenix masters and have a chance to play for Nationals. In all a pretty good start to the new league.

9/17/05

The team took 2nd place for the season play which ended Thursday. The team did very well for it's 1st season in T.A.P and will now move on to the play-off's. We will play the 3rd place team and the winner will move on to play for 1st place Trophies. Steve was the highest winner on the team (92%), also winning the team and division MVP. Delana was next with 83%. Followed by Scott (82%), Glenn (71%), Chris and previous player both at 67%, giving the team 6 people with over a 65% win percentage! The question remains for two weeks. Can the team earn their 10th set of Trophies in 12 tries?

9/8/05

Well the team has one more week to go. The worst place we can finish in at this point for the season in 3rd place and we should be in the play-offs. Steve may have clinched the 4-5 MVP race for our division tonight. We voted for the team MVP tonight and the runner's up were Laura and Scott. Laura joined the team at a time when we were in need and has become part of the family. Laura has been fun loving and improving in her game. Scott had a good season and has captained the team to its 11th play-off season. The winner and team MVP was .... Steve Parker. No surprise to me. Steve has had a great season and seems to always be willing to have a good time. He has improved his game and has been a key role in the teams success this season. Thanks for all your effort this season Steve! How about a race to 5 for your patch? We will let everyone know how the play-offs go in the coming weeks ahead.

8/27/05

So far the team is holding on to 1st place in the division and seems to be keeping its lead. Steve and Scott are on top of the 4-5 MVP board and both won on Thursday. Chris, a previous player and Steve, Scott played in a Scotch doubles tournament today. Chris and previous player played well loosing on a single elimination side of the winners bracket. Steve and Scott lost their 1st match but came back through the looser side making it two rounds from the 1st place match. It was a good 1st tournament for the team in TAP and we were very happy with the experience. We will definitely play in future tournaments. I will try to update every week now that we are approaching the end of the season. With three weeks to go I am confident we will get a shot at the playoffs and higher level tournaments.

Go 6Ballstoomany...............

8/17/05

Well the team has posted a 4-1 win three weeks in a row. We kept control of 1st place and gained a 3 point lead on second. I have updated some of the patches with the new 5-0 patch the team received a couple weeks ago and the 8 Break & Run Steve got two weeks ago.

8/9/2005

The team took control of 1st place last week and kept it this week with a 4-1 win. The team is adjusting to the new format and seem to be playing well. More updates when the webmaster has a little more time.

8/5/05

Well the team is on a good run winning two weeks in a row 4-1 and currently in first place. Chris celebrated his birthday last night, hope he has a good one this weekend. Delana won again staying undefeated and is the only one on the team with no losses this season. We will continue to work on our lead and hopefully hold it.

7/24/05

 Well it was a very busy week. The team added a new member in Laura Parker. Laura has been playing at home and has agreed to come out and start helping the team. Look out Steve you might have competition for being the top Parker on the team. The team is doing well and has been around 1st place for the last couple weeks and in 1st once. We are still adjusting to the new league and we will see if we can make a run at 1st as we get more comfortable.

Scott and Delana are doing more work on the house, who would have guessed! Steve and Laura are doing some changes to their yard, when is the BBQ?????

7/14/05

The team had a good night playing to a 5-0 win. We had some close matches but pulled out our 1st T.A.P. patch, a team 5-0. Steve and Scott's bet of who will loose 1st is still on. Both of them are 100% and neither plan to loose any time soon.

Congratulations to Glenn and Barb, who are planning to get married soon!

Recently the team got together at friends house to celebrate friend's birthday and have a little poker night. We cooked up an entire Thanksgiving style spread and we pigged out.

6/24/05

 Well two weeks into the new season and we are holding are own. We won again 3-2 tonight and seemed to be playing well. We have not had a really big night yet and may not until we get use to the new league. I guess we cannot complain with two weeks in an two wins 3-2 we are showing we can compete in this league as well. More to come next week.

Happy Birthday to Delana who turns the big 30 on Saturday!

Pretty sad when the 1st number in your age matches you skill level?

I going to go now before I get into any more trouble...

6/17/05

The team played our 1st night in the new league and won 3-2. Since we are just playing 8 ball right know we had time for other fun things as well. Like Chris beating up on the entire team in air hockey. We did learn that at least he is good at one table sport????? See the team photo page for some pictures of the butt whooping.

6/12/2005

Due to some unfortunate disregard for players and teams 6Ballstoomany cannot support or promote our old league any longer. While we have been very dedicated to our team and the sport we cannot over look the complete disregard for rules and other players. We will stay in touch with our friends made along the way just not in league. We will however be joining the Phoenix T.A.P. league and will continue to play. If you would like more information on where we are, just give us a call or email the webmaster on the mail box link below to the left side.

We will post new information as it becomes available.

6/01/2005

 Things are quiet for now. The team will play in the 8ball and 9ball city championships in middle to late June. We will be trying to get a spot to return to the National Championships in August. We will give more updates in a couple weeks.

5/20/2005

 Well the spring session is finally over and 6Ballstoomany is division champions in both. The team has been both 8 and 9 ball champions in same session 4 times. This makes our 9th division title out of a possible 12 since the team was formed. Our first round was tight and could have gone either way. Delana, with a hurt shoulder, started us off by wining the 1st match against a very good opponent. A previous player continued to add to the win with a close, well played match. Scott and Steve wrapped up the victory in the 4th and 5th match.

 In the trophy round the team got motivated and never really looked back. Steve started off in dominating fashion with a huge win. A previous player battled with a skill level 6 in the third and almost pulled it out. Scott sealed the deal giving the team a huge lead going in to the 5th match, where Chris only needed 11 balls to win the title for the team. Chris wasted no time getting the balls very quickly to close the door on another successful season.

Glenn hope you are having fun in California. I have another trophy and some money for you when you get back. Minus a small handling fee of course....

Check out the new look to the Trophy Pages.

5/13/2005

 A great 8-Ball season has come to an end, with 6Balls finishing 1st! We started play-offs in the number one seed and it proved to be one of the toughest wins we have had. We won the 1st round 3-2. Steve and Scott played well winning a combined 10 games with 1 loss. Steve got his 1st 5-0 patch.

 The 2nd round is where we struggled against a good team the pushed us to the last ball. Glenn started getting in a hole and needed to win 3 games to his opponents 1. Glenn took his time and slowly picked away, winning the next three straight. A previous player got down from the start but battled through and eventually one our 2nd point of the round. Steve and Chris got down 4 to 0 and fought back to take it to a tie, both needing one game. We lost these two matches and put all the pressure on a previous player to bail us out. With our player winning the next 2 games 6Balls won the Division title 3-2. With the win the team is now 4 time 8-Ball division champions and has 6 division titles over all.

9-Ball Playoffs are next week. Go 6Balls........................

Delana, the team missed you. Hope you are having fun in Kansas. Sorry but Scott has your winnings and good luck getting it!

5/07/2005

Another season comes to an end. The team made it in both 8ball and 9ball. We finished very strong with Scott winning the 8ball skill level 6 & 7 MVP and top over all male player in the division. Johanna won the 8ball skill level 4 & 5 MVP, Top Gun in both 8ball and 9ball and top over all female player. The team will not be playing in the Tri-Cup, since we have already qualified for the City championship in both 8ball and 9ball. We will be trying to win another division title in both though!

*** Special congratulations to friends and teammates on some recent marriages. Chris and Lyndsay Pineda and Jorge and Johanna Lopez! I really hope Lynsday and Johanna can finally whip these guy's into shape!

From the webmaster to all of you, many happy years.....

4/29/05 4:30pm

Well the run has ended, our player gave it a great effort and played well. We are all proud of her and so happy to be here and support her. We all have some mini events this evening and plan to represent the team well. Our friend Kim and Gary Robinson are still in the Scotch Doubles and we wish them well!!!

George and Johanna are getting married in 20 min see ya!

4/29/05 10:15am

Our player won her 1st round this morning in dominating fashion. She won 2-0 and was very impressive in her defensive play. Her next round will be at 11:45am, we will update after that. Did Chris get a Sledgehammer while Scott was shopping???? I guess he will have to wait and see!

4/28/05 7:25pm

Our player played well taking her first match to hill. She plays again at 9:15am and will need to win out to take it all. It is what she had to do at Regional's to get here. We are taking the night off to to play in Las Vegas will update tomarrow.

4/28/05 5:30pm

Scott and Delana made to one ball away from 33rd in the Scotch Doubles. They finished 49th out of 256 teams and finished in the 1st level of money. Scott's team took home some more money finishing second in the 9ball Scotch Doubles mini!

4/28/05

Scott and Delana have made it to the money rounds in the National Scotch Doubles! They play again at 2pm today with a chance to increase their prize money. Scott made it to the money round finishing 3rd in his the skill level 6 mini.

Hey Chris, Steve and Glenn wish you were here, Scooter has a new Sledgehammer Cue! Maybe today he will win another Schon.......

4/27/05

The team is doing well in Nationals. The rest of us tried to see how much happy liquid we could consume. Scooter won a little today on the slots. Delana and Scooter did really well in Scotch Doubles winning 4-0 and will play again at 8pm. With this afternoons win they are guaranteed to play again tomorrow. The other teams from Arizona are all doing well and we all hope someone from Arizona will win it all. Everyone is scheduled to play in mini events tonight and we will update the site with results. From a small group of friends to have come together over the years and do the things this team has done is amazing! Several division championships, Tri-cup appearances, State 9ball Champions, Regional 8ball winner, 9ball Regional runner-up and 33rd in the country in the 2004 National 9ball Team Championships. We have all been there to support each other at one time or another. Now we are so excited to have one of our own playing for it all, the single National Title. With a chance at one of the biggest single player accomplishments we have only one thing to say, kick some butt!

4/17/2005

Well, we are winding up another season in our 8ball and 9ball divisions. The team is in first place by a lot in 8ball and will clinch a play-off spot next week, very possible the 1st place position. In 9ball we have made a tremendous come back. We were almost out of everything 5 weeks ago, but with several very strong weeks we are in third place and can control our own destiny now. We will need to continue strong for the next two weeks to hold our position.

10 days until Nationals!!!!!!!!!!!

4/10/2005

Scott and Johanna played on teams in the Scotch doubles this weekend.

Just a little under 3 weeks to go until Single Nationals! Our player is getting ready for her tier in 8ball and has a really good chance to take a run at the title. Scott and Delana will be playing as a team in the Jack and Jill Scotch doubles. They have never played doubles together before so National should be an interesting way to start! Ha, Ha.

3/19/05

Not much new this week. More to come as we get closer to Nationals.

3/08/05

Sorry no updates in South West Challenge, we had technical difficulties. Well we did not do every thing as we wanted but we put up a good showing for the team and Arizona. Scott started off the weekend winning 10 straight games on the way to 3rd place in the 6 & 7 skill level mini. Our SWC teams continued to win into the second day of competition before being eliminated. Chris and a previous player pushed the team back in the spotlight taking 2nd place in the Scotch Doubles mini event. Delana made it 4 rounds deep into her regional matches. Scott rounded off the weekend finishing 2nd and the National runner up for the 6, 7, 8, &9 skill tier. Hopefully this is just the beginning to what will come in April when one of our players goes for the National Title, while Scott and Johanna take a run at the Scotch Doubles.

Thanks to everyone helping out watching kids, dogs and houses. Our group has been on a roll lately Scott, Steve and Chris's fiancée Lindsay got new management positions recently, congratulations to all!

Mackenzie, Rylie, and Payson wear your stuff and we will try and make you proud.

2/11/05

Not much new going on with the team. We are in the middle of another season. The team will be sending two groups to South West Challenge in Las Vegas. Delana and Scott are getting ready for 9ball regionals. Hope everyone has a safe and happy Valentine's Day. Maybe I will get brownie points from the wife for that one!

1/13/05

We all want to wish a Happy Birthday to some players and family. Glenn's getting older, hopefully the eye sight doesn't go. Steve's wife Laura, now how does she put up with Steve. All playing aside we hope everyone had a happy birthday!

We want to congratulate another special event that happened recently. Chris asked girlfriend Lyndsay to marry him over the holidays. Can you believe she said yes? You know what this webmaster is thinking............. bachelor party! We wish them all the best hope they have many happy years.

1/07/04

Well, another season comes to an end and the team took 2nd place in 8ball. This makes four 1st place and two 2nd place finishes in six seasons. The team will be competing in the in several events coming up. Delana and Scott will be in 9ball single regionals in March. The team will have some representation in the South West 8ball Challenge at the same time. One of our players will be in single nationals, while Scott and Johanna will be in the Jack n' Jill scotch doubles in April. The entire team will be in the city championships for both 8ball and 9ball around June. We will be keeping the site updated with event results as they happen.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and go 6ballstooamny!!!!!!!

12/18/04

Scott represented the team in the 2004 Captains tournament today. Scott played very well earning 2 break & run patches and one rackless patch. Scott went completely through the winners side of a 37 player field, finally ending at 2nd place. He had a chance at 1st place losing on the final game of a very good match. Scott won an APA watch and custom made chalk holder, along with the 2nd place prize money.

Once again 6ballstoomany represents well....

12/16/04

Well it is the final week on the season. The team is tied for 1st place in 8ball and guaranteed a playoff spot. We are hoping for the wild card in 9ball. At this point some awards have been wrapped up. Scott won team top gun and division MVP for 8ball. In 8ball currently Chris, Delana, Glenn, Mary Ellen and Steve are 50% winners or better. Scott is working on a 100% season, currently at 10 wins and 0 losses. In 9ball Chris and Steve were 50% winners or better.

We will update again in playoffs.....

11/24/04

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!

Well the team is off this week and will resume next week. We have three weeks to go in this season. We are currently in 1st place in 8ball and 5th in 9ball. Several players are in the running for awards and we will have to wait and see how many we can capture. Hope everyone has a happy holidays.

11/04/04

Wow, I updated the website! The team is doing well. Since we are in both 8ball and 9ball city's it is hard to keep focused We are currently in 1st place in 8ball and 5th in 9ball. I think our new goal is to start kicking butt in 9ball.

Happy anniversary Delana and Scott!

10/10/04

We are back from regionals and Arizona represented well. Several Arizona players made it in to the later rounds. We want to congratulate everyone who went and played. Our team members specifically hung in there but came up a little short, except for one. One of our players won the 2's and 3's skill level tier and will be continuing on to the single national championships. We are all very excited for her and very proud!

To see more photos go to 2004 Single Regionals.

10/04/04

Well we did it 6ballstoomany is going on to the city wide tournament in 8ball. With some really good team work we were able to clinch a spot on the first try for the 2005 city tournament. The top three teams here will get to move on to the 2005 National team championships in 8ball. Due to our recent 9ball success we now have two chances at Nationals next year. Who knows maybe we will make it in both! Good luck to all the players going to the regional singles events in California this weekend. We will have three players going for a chance at single nationals. One player will be in the 2-3 tier. Mary Ellen and Scooter will be in the 4-5 tier. Good luck to everyone.....

9/23/04

We are all glad to have you back in town safe and sound. Steve's a skill level 5! Steve got moved up in skill level this week. Chis and I are fighting on who gets to play him first, easy money...... The team is in a new season and doing well, currently 1st place in 8ball and 3rd place in 9ball.

9/02/04

Well we are back from Nationals and already trying to earn a trip back. I will give you one guess who won the division #11 9ball championship tonight. If you said 6ballstoomany, your right. We started the night short handed and had to play two very good, strong teams. Mary Ellen won her match and Glenn won. With big wins in the first round we did not need the fifth match to move on. With 2 big wins in the second round from Mary Ellen and a previous player the team had a large lead. Due to this Scooter, Glenn and Steve did not need to win if they kept it close. Steve finished off the night by  getting the last 15 balls needed for the win. With the win the team receives its 3rd 9ball division title and moves on to the city championship later this year.

8/27/04

Well, we are back from Nationals. We had a good time and won some along the way. Scooter won and placed in some mini events. Delana, Steve and Glenn placed in mini events. Scooter won a smaller cue raffle and won a cue off a speed pool contest. Delana got some cue balls signed by the Pro Artistic pool players and Glenn got a new cue case. The entire team received some money for placing in Nationals and some collectable gifts.

We want to thank everyone for there support. We received letters at Nationals and the website was very busy. We start over now with new goals and a little different look to the team. We are already qualified for Tri-annuals in 8ball and play to win the 9ball division on Thursday (9/02/04). We are taking the steps to try and get back in 2005.

I have updated patches, some pictures and player pages. I will update again after 9ball division playoffs on 9/02/04.

8/22/04 @ 5:18 p.m.

Well the dream ride comes to an end. We could not put enough together to get to the next round. I cannot say in words how proud I am of our team. We were just a group of friends who put a pool team together and with 1000's of pool teams around the U.S. and Canada we are 33rd over all. We won some money and had experiences to last forever. Every member of the team won a match and helped towards the run. The pressure was unbelievable and leaves us battle tested for the future. Can anyone say Nationals 2005!!!!!!!

We are now entering some mini events and are going to try to bring a little more home to Arizona.

Go 6ballstoomany.....

8/22/04 @1:18 a.m.

Well when the National Championships started it was 261 of the best teams in the United States and Canada. After tonight it is down to 33 of the best teams. 6ballstoomany did not play well tonight. We were struggling through most of our matches. Scooter and Skeeter held on for wins. Mary Ellen played with nerves of steel at the end and advanced 6ballstoomany to the next round. Yes that's right we advanced, 6ballstoomany is one of the 33 best teams in the country. Tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. we will continue our quest to be #1.

Steve has been doing well in mini events placing in the money two times. Scooter won a speed pool contest today and won a Fury pool cue. Scooter cleared an entire 8 ball rack in 58 seconds, the current record for the contest. None of the pro players on team fury could match it. The next closest time was 1 minute and 24 seconds.

Thanks for all the letters of support.....

The team wanted to say hello to all the kids back home; Shane, Mckenna, Mackenzie, Rylie and Scotty.

Go 6ballstoomany...............

8/21/04

We are still in! Our next match is at 9:30 p.m. All double elimination rounds are done. From here on out one team loss and you are done. We are currently ranked 65th. Basically we are the 65th best team in the nation. Every round from here cuts that number in half until you reach #1. While a very small amount in size we are in the money rounds now. Click the 2004NationalChampionship link to see some pictures.

Go 6ballstoomany........

8/21/04 @ 2:00 a.m.

The news you have been waiting for! We are still in it and we are still in the winners bracket. I need to keep it brief since we play again in 6 hours. I will try to add some pictures late tomorrow afternoon. You can have a message posted for the team on the national APA website. The link to do this is http://www.poolplayers.com/2004ntc/onlinemessage.html . The messages are posted just outside of the National team event room.

Go 6Ballstoomany......

8/19/04

Well registration was LONG.... We were in line long enough for Scooter to go get a hair cut and win some money at the slots. The good news is we are here and checked in. The main event room is very cool and we hope to be there for a while. More to come........

8/14/2004

Finally we are updated. It's been a crazy couple weeks but you would not know it from the teams performance. We continued with our 4th division championship and qualified for Tri-Annual's in 8-ball again. Special props to our newest player on the team Steve Parker. Steve won both of his matches in his first play-offs.  Scooter also went undefeated in his matches. We are very excited about Nationals and encourage all friends and family to check the website for updates. We should be updating nightly with how things are going.

7/24/04

Wow I updated the website. Currently we are in a run for the 8ball division playoffs. We took some time to work on 9ball and it put us behind a little. We won both matches on 7/22 and are working on getting back in the 9ball division playoffs. We are less than a month away from the National Championships. We are all very excited and dreaming of a National title. I am sure the other 200 or so teams left in the country have the same idea. Our team name was banned from the Nationals, I guess it was suggestive? We will be allowed to wear the shirts and use our logo. So if you are looking for us at Nationals our team name will be White Gorilla, since he is our mascot. We want to wish the Arizona 8ball teams good luck and hope they bring home some hardware.

6/14/04

O.K. now that your webmaster is a little more alert. I just wanted to mention a few notable accomplishments from the weekend. It was the first time the team made it to Nationals. A previous player went undefeated in all of her matches and scored a rackless patch. Another player got his first 8ball break & run patch and a 9ball break. Skeeter got a 9ball break & run patch and a rackless patch. Scooter went undefeated in all of his matches. Scooter's first 8ball game was a break & run patch. He also got two 9ball break patches. The entire team supported each other and really showed what we are all about. A special thanks to Steve our newest member. Steve was not eligible to play, but showed up to support the team all day Saturday.

6/13/2004

Well the bad news is that in 8Ball the team made it to the final match. We were tied on the final game with only two balls on the table. When our opponent made a great play and we lost our trip to the National Championship. BUT WAIT..... We were in it for 9Ball as well. We came out with a vengeance and never fell behind against any team. We went through the entire winners side and never looked back. YES I am saying what it sounds like, 6Ballstoomany is going to Las Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did it, the best 9Ball team in APA of Arizona. Now we are going to play in the 9Ball National Championships! To all the team, friends and family thanks for your support.

6/12/2004

In 8 hours 6Ballstoomany will start the Local Team Championships. We are going to give it our best shot. The winners here are in the National Championships. To everyone on the team and all our friends and family, thanks for all the support! I will update you with how we did as soon as I know.

5/22/04

Some people call it Local Team Championship and some call it City Wide. No matter what you call it, 6Ballstoomany is in it! On June 12th and 13th the team will play the final tournament in Arizona to go to Las Vegas. It was not the teams best regular season but has been the best finish. As usual the team took the hard way. With Mary Ellen playing in Las Vegas at the B.C.A. event we had six players available. This meant everyone needed to pull together to make it possible. It came down to the final match, winner goes on and looser goes home. A previous player hungry from the previous round took the first win. Glenn was struggling and trying to get back on his game. Glenn held it together and pulled off the teams second win and really boosting the teams moral. Scooter using a coach from Skeeter came back from behind to tie his match three games to three games. That was all the motivation he needed. Scooter went on to close the deal with the teams third win.

4/30/04

The team finished up the division 11 season in second place. It came down to the last match and over all we came up just a little short. The team is qualified to go to the City Championships in June and play for a shot at the National Team Championships in 9ball. In the three seasons the team has played 9ball, we have finished 1st two times and 2nd once.

4/24/04

Wow! What a way to end the season in 8Ball. The team clawed its way back all season to get 1st position in playoffs. The team had to play two of the toughest teams in the division, Criminal Behavior and Wrongfully A-Cues'd. We beat Criminal Behavior 3-0 in the first round. In the second round we lost the first two matches. We were in the hole 0-2 with the other team only needing one more match to win it all. We were looking for someone to step in to lift the team back up. Glenn stepped in and played awesome, winning his match with the entire season on his back. Glenn's effort got the team fired up and we played one of our smartest games. With the second win we were back tied at 2-2. Scooter was a little frustrated in his match. Scooter was behind a game when we won our second match and his opponent scratched tying the match at 1-1. This proved to be all the motivation we needed. Scooter won the last three straight games and 6Ballstoomany won the division #9 title. I personally think that without Glenn stepping up and getting us that first win we would have lost. Glenn won our team the season! We also took home some extra hardware with Scooter winning the division MVP and team Top Gun.

Can you say 3-Peat!

4/15/04

The season comes to an end. We are in the playoffs for both 8ball and 9ball. The team finished the regular season in 1st place in 8ball. We were 2nd in 9 ball by one point. We have qualified for the 8ball tri-annuals again, which will be May 22nd. Over the next two weeks we will be playing for the 8ball and 9ball division title. The team is looking for it's 3rd title in three seasons. To top of the week Mary Ellen took second in a singles tournament.

4/03/2004

Today was a good day for the team. Scooter and Skeeter took 2nd place in the Scotch Doubles tournament. Jorge and friend finished tied for 5th. Chris and a previous player finished tied for 10th. Scooter won a 9ball singles qualifier to play in regionals. Winners at regionals get to move on to the national championship.

4/01/04

It's getting close to the end of the season. We are in position to be in both the 8ball and 9ball playoffs. With three weeks to go we control our own destiny. Scooter has a chance to win the 8ball division MVP award, with eight wins. Glenn in undefeated in 8ball with four wins. Skeeter, Chris, Delana, and Mary Ellen have combined for fourteen wins for the team in 8ball. In 9ball, both Scooter and Skeeter have a chance at the division MVP award. Scooter and Skeeter have a combined for thirteen matches won. Chris, Glenn, Delana and Mary Ellen have combined for eighteen wins for the team in 9ball. Get ready for the team to make a push at it's third championship in three seasons. Can you say three-peat!

3/08/04

What a showing for our team! Scooter started the event by winning in the casino on the first night. Delana took the first money for pool by winning the 1, 2, 3's 9-Ball mini. Skeeter and Scooter's team followed with a 33rd place finish out of 254 teams. Mary Ellen and Chris's team decided to get one better and finished 17th out of 254 teams. 6Ballstoomany sends two teams to SWC and both placed in the money! We continued on with Scooter placing 2nd in the 4, 5 8-Ball mini. It didn't stop there, as Skeeter and Delana both took home more winnings in the casino. We represented the Arizona well. Chris made a full table kick shot to leave perfect for the 8ball, which advanced the team to the 17th place round. Skeeter and Scooter's team all made it to the 33rd place round undefeated in all matches. We cannot wait till  next year!

See Pictures from SWC trip.

3/02/04

VIVA Las Vegas..........

Most of the team will be heading to Las Vegas to play in the South West Challenge. We have two teams of three in the event. Scott T., Scott H. and a previous player make up one team. Chris, Mary Ellen and a previous player will make up the second. Delana will be playing in mini-events at the same time. Good luck to everyone!

To update you from the cue contest, Scott T. took third and won a pool cue case.. While we didn't get first place, two out of the top three isn't bad.

2/20/04

Coming of a good night Thursday most of the team will play in a cue contest Saturday. Hopefully one of us can come away with first prize.

Two weeks until South West Challenge in Las Vegas......

2/07/04

We came up one match short of moving on to the 8-ball LTC tournament for Arizona. We still have one more opportunity in 8-ball this year and we are in the LTC for 9-ball. The LTC is the City's tournament, where the top three teams get to move on to the team national championship in Las Vegas.

2/02/04

We started a three man unlimited team today. Our team name will be the Sandbaggers. The team plays three with one alternate. Our team consists of Scott Henthorn as captain, Chris Pineda as co-captain, Jorge Lopez and Scott Thomas. It is a very high skill level division and should be quite a challenge. You can see updates at www.6ballstoomany.com/sandbaggers.

1/31/04

Players please check your 6Ballstoomany email. I will be keeping you up to date on all events and current information.

1/24/04

6Ballstoomany brings home the hardware at the Fall session 2003 awards banquet. Click on team photos to see pictures of the event. Not to stop with just trophies, Scooter and Skeeter both qualified for the singles 8-ball regional. This is one step away from the APA singles 8-ball national championship. With Delana and a previous player qualifying for the 9-ball singles, the team now has four people going to the regional level. Great job everyone!

1/15/04

No one can say Chris doesn't pay up on bets. Last season Chris and Scooter made a bet on who could win the most patches. The looser had to wash the winners truck. Well the season is over and time to pay up! Click the link below to see how clean Chris got Scooter's truck.

~~~ Per Chris no more Photos Available ~~~
1/15/04
Division play starts today. 6Ballstoomany will make a run at three in a row. Don't forget the awards banquet will be January 24th @ 12:30pm. The banquet location will be Clicks Billiards @ 3935 E. Thomas Rd.
12/30/2003
O.K. one more update........ Most of the team went to play a local tournament on 12/30/03. Despite a poorly run tournament, where they changed some of the rules about half way through. Everyone had a good time and most were in it toward the end. Glenn played well ending 5th overall. Chris represented the team well in taking 1st place, Nice! Everyone have a great New Years. More good stuff to come in 2004.
12/25/03
Merry Christmas to all from the team..... No more updates until 2004.
12/20/03
6Ballstoomany wins division 11 9ball championship! With a 52 to 48 win over Stupidhumans, 6Ballstoomany advance to the finals. 6Ballstoomany then won the finals 52 to 28 and became back to back 9ball champions. The awards ceremony will be on 1/24/04 and we will update the site with pictures from the event.
12/13/03
Scooter and Chris played in the Scotch Doubles tournament Saturday. Chris keeps calling it the scotch singles and Scott calls it carrying Chris all day. All kidding aside Scooter and Chris tied for 3rd place in the money.
12/11/03
6Ballstoomany wins division #9 8-Ball. With wins over Stupidhumans and Wrongfully a cues'd, 6Ballstoomany was able to repeat as division champions. In the first round we had wins from Skeeter, Chris and a previous player. In the second round we had wins from Scooter, Chris and Mary Ellen. Scott earned a 8-Ball break and run patch. We will try and do the same on 12/18/03 when we play for division #11 9-Ball. What an end to a great season!
12/06/03
APA captains tournament was held today. Skeeter and Scooter played in the event. Scooter did very well and tied for 5th place. Skeeter stole the show taking 1st place and defeating last sessions champion. Congratulations to Skeeter on a very impressive tournament.
Next up is the Scotch doubles and Fall session championships.
12/05/03
The team ends season in 1st place for both 8ball and 9ball. Playoffs start on 12/11/03 and go until 12/18/03. It looks like Mary Ellen will win the MVP award for 2's and 3's in 8ball. Scott H. will win the MVP for 4's and 5's in 8ball. Scott T. will win the MVP for 4's and 5's in 9ball. Scott T. also won the Top Dog award for 9ball. Delana T. will win the team Top Gun award for 9ball and the Top Cat award for 9ball. Great individual efforts to everyone and hopefully more awards to come in playoffs.
11/30/2003
Several updates to player and team photo pages. Check out captions below photos
11/29/2003
Everyone had last week off for the holidays. Sorry there was no update for a week. The webmaster was feeling under the weather. With the final day of division play on 12/04/03, we have a double header to finish the season. We have several players in contention for individual awards and are currently in 1st place in both 8 and 9 ball.
11/20/03
We played 1 short of a 6 pack tonight and rescheduled play against Criminal Behavior. It was a good night winning 4 out of 5 in 9 ball, for 78 points. We won 4 out of 5 in 8 ball for 4 points. With two weeks to go we are in control of our own destiny. Glenn was able to make it tonight and took a rackless patch in the process. Scott took a 9 on the snap and a rackless patch. Delana had big wins in 9 ball.
11/15/03
6Ballstoomany played Stupidhumans on Thursday the 13th. We won 4 out of 5 matches in 8 Ball and 9 Ball. With three weeks of play to go we are positioned to make the play offs in both. Next week we play a double header against 1 short of a 6 pack and Criminal Behavior. Wins next week would more than likely guarantee a spot in both play offs.
11/13/03
Division #9
8Ball we have moved into 1st place with 4 weeks to go in the season. Currently the team has 41 points, with second place close by at 39.
Division #11
9Ball we are in second place with 4 weeks to go in the season. Currently the team is trailing first place by 14 points, 553 to 567.
Coming to the end of the season we have some very tough teams and key matches still to play. We are trying to repeat as division #9 and #11 champions. We will need some solid play from our players and we can secure a spot in division play offs.
More new stuff..... Check out team and player photo pages. More photos to come as I get my CPU back on line. Some trophy pages are also done.
11/12/03
Player and Team Patch Pages are done. Trophy pages coming and photo pages soon to follow.
